The City of Valencia

Valencia is the third largest city in Spain and its most unique. It is located on the Mediterranean sea just south of Barcelona. It offers all the advantages of a large city, but its abundance of beachfront, neighborhood outdoor cafes and restaurants lend the feeling of a smaller town atmosphere.

The City’s architecture is breathtaking. Majestic historical buildings, monuments, and fountains mix with modern works such as Calatrava’s City of Arts and Sciences complex. Valencia has an excellent year round climate (300+warm sunny days a year) and was chosen to host one of the world’s richest sporting events, the Americas Yachting Cup 2007.
The City is surrounded by an array of unique Spanish towns and villages with mountains, orange groves, vineyards, and the sea as their backdrop. It’s a fantastic place to visit for both short and longer stays.
